Unexpectedly, Virtus.pro support five player Illias "Kingslayer" Ganeev announced that he will go inactive from mid Dota Pro Circuit Winter Tour.
According to VP announced, Kingslayer decided to move to inactive role because of "his private matters and health".

The pos 5 spot will be taken by a promising up-and-coming player, who has previously stood in for PuckChamp and is brought now to VP from the academy line-up of Team Spirit. Egor "Xakoda" Lipartiya is a newcomer to the tier one professional scene. In his rather green competitive career, he played for Team Family, M5 Academy, DisRespecT Mix and Yellow Submarine. He reached 10K MMR and some of his most played heroes are Disruptor, Grimstroke, Bane and Oracle.
Virtus.pro are currently in fifth place in Division 1 of EEU regional league with two wins and two losses. Their final three series can make the difference and potentially bring them a ticket to the first Major of the year. However, in the eventuality of a tiebreaker, per Valve rules, they will need to play any additional games with Kingslayer, and going to the Major with a stand-in will trigger a penalty in DPC points earned.
Egor’s first official match under the VP banner will be held on January 7, against Team Empire, who are yet to win a series in the Winter Tour and now fight to avoid relegation.
