Just earlier today, Valve has announced that the first Major of DPC 2021-2022 will be canceled due to COVID-19.

As in the announcement, DPC Winter Tour will be concluded after regional league tournaments have ended. Players who participated in Fantasy will receive their rewards before the next Tour start.

About DPC points, as team gain DPC point both in Regional Leagues and Major, there will be still point count for Winter Tour based on Regional Leagues result. The point from first Major will be redistributed to 2nd and 3rd Major as follows:

Major 2:
1st Place - 520 Points
2nd Place - 310 Points
3rd Place - 210 Points
4th Place - 105 Points
5th Place - 52 Points

Major 3:
1st Place - 680 Points
2nd Place - 410 Points
3rd Place - 270 Points
4th Place - 135 Points
5th Place - 68 Points

As the restriction in traveling will maintain undecided while new strain of COVID-19 still at large, Valve also said that they will continue to evaluate the situation for the future Majors as the 2nd Tour progress.
